New Kit! – T525 1/4 CONVERSION – GAS SAW

This bar and chain setup is narrower and lighter than the original 3/8 setup. Having a narrower and lighter chain removes less wood per cut, freeing up some power allowing it to cut faster.

This is a kit which includes everything to convert to 1/4 pitch……..Bar, two chains, and a 1/4 drive sprocket.

These kits are for the battery powered 535i, 536i, 540i

Panther PSA – Please watch before purchasing. (3 minute watch)

Adding a Panther 1/4 pitch bar and chain to your saw will reduce drag on the engine due to the decreased cutting kerf. This will decrease the power needed to cut through that gnarly branch…. In turn, giving you more free power to wield at your fingertips.

August Hunicke has found when cutting larger diameter wood, the bar can start to bind. Not recommended for chunking down spars. Please don’t misunderstand, this is a sweet set up but it’s not the right choice for prolonged large diameter cutting.  If you need a long lasting durable all-around bar and chain combo, don’t expect it to be this one. Use this for limbing and then switch out to a bigger saw for spar work.
